General

WA Spark is a Chrome extension that adds a sidepanel to WhatsApp Web with bulk messaging, campaign tracking, chat analytics, and privacy features. It runs entirely in your browser with zero external servers.

After installing from the Chrome Web Store, open WhatsApp Web and click the WA Spark icon. It opens as a sidepanel alongside your chats. Click Connect to link with your WhatsApp session, and you're ready to go.

No. WA Spark is an independent Chrome extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp or Meta in any way.

WA Spark works on any Chromium-based browser: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Opera. It requires the desktop version of WhatsApp Web.

No. WA Spark is a desktop Chrome extension. It requires WhatsApp Web running in a desktop browser. Mobile browsers do not support Chrome extensions.

No. WA Spark requires zero accounts, zero sign-ups, and zero personal information. Install and start using it immediately.

Yes. WA Spark works with both regular WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Business Web, since both use the same web interface.

WhatsApp Web supports one account per browser profile. To use WA Spark with multiple accounts, create separate Chrome profiles (one per WhatsApp account). Each profile runs its own instance of the extension with separate data.

Yes. WA Spark works with WhatsApp's multi-device feature. Your phone does not need to be online for the extension to function, as long as your WhatsApp Web session is active and linked.

Three reasons: 1) 100% local - no servers, no data collection, no accounts. Most competitors require sign-ups and send data through their servers. 2) Built-in safety - randomized delays, warm-up limits, and number verification are included by default. 3) All-in-one - messaging, analytics, privacy, templates, and campaign tracking in a single extension.

No. WA Spark is proprietary software. However, the extension runs entirely in your browser and you can inspect its code via Chrome DevTools if you want to verify what it does.

Installation and Setup

(6)

Visit the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome" to install WA Spark instantly. The extension installs in seconds. No account, no sign-up, no configuration needed.

After installing, go to web.whatsapp.com. Click the WA Spark icon in your browser toolbar (or find it under the puzzle piece icon). Select "Open side panel" and the panel appears alongside your chats.

Once the sidepanel is open on WhatsApp Web, click the Connect button. WA Spark links to your active WhatsApp session instantly. Your contacts, groups, and chats become available in the extension.

Not for WA Spark itself. You need to be logged into WhatsApp Web (which requires a QR code scan the first time). WA Spark then connects to that existing session.

Yes. Install the extension on each computer. Your WhatsApp session syncs via WhatsApp's linked devices feature. Note that templates, lists, and settings are stored per browser, so use Import/Export to transfer data between machines.

Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar, find WA Spark in the list, and click the pin icon next to it. The WA Spark icon will then always be visible in your toolbar for quick access.

Pricing and Plans

(7)

Yes. The free tier includes 5 bulk sends per day, 25 recipients per send, 3 saved campaigns, basic chat analytics, and all 6 privacy shield toggles. No credit card required, no trial period, free forever.

Yes. During launch we offer a one-time payment option for lifetime access to all Pro features. Check the Pricing section on our homepage for current availability and pricing.

Yes. The monthly Pro plan has no contracts or commitments. Cancel anytime from your account and you keep access until the end of your billing period. However, all sales are final and no refunds are issued for the current or any previous billing periods.

We accept all major credit and debit cards through our payment processor. No cryptocurrency or wire transfers at this time.

All sales are final. Due to the nature of the software and the risks involved with bulk messaging (including potential account bans), we do not offer refunds. We encourage you to use the free tier first to ensure WA Spark meets your needs before purchasing Pro.

You revert to the free tier. All your data (templates, lists, campaign history) is preserved. You can still access everything, but daily send limits apply again.

Privacy and Security

(6)

No. WA Spark processes everything locally in your browser. There are zero external servers, zero analytics, zero tracking, and zero telemetry. Your messages, contacts, and chat data never leave your device.

All data (templates, lists, campaigns, settings) is stored in your browser's local storage. Nothing is transmitted to any server. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the extension removes everything.

WA Spark can only access data visible on WhatsApp Web in your browser tab. It does not have access to messages not loaded on screen, archived chats you haven't opened, or your WhatsApp encryption keys.

Privacy Shield is a set of 6 toggles that blur sensitive content on your WhatsApp Web screen: contact names, profile pictures, message text, media files, message previews in the sidebar, and contact info. Perfect for screen sharing or working in public.

Yes. The web-based Chat Analyzer at /analyze processes your uploaded WhatsApp export entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No data is sent to any server. Close the tab and all data is gone.

WA Spark only requests permission to access web.whatsapp.com. It cannot access other websites, tabs, or browser data. You can verify this in Chrome's extension permissions page.

Bulk Messaging

(14)

Free tier: 5 bulk sends per day with up to 25 recipients each. Pro tier: unlimited sends with unlimited recipients. Each "send" is one campaign to a list of recipients.

1) Send to Contacts: message individual contacts or phone numbers. 2) Post to Groups: send to multiple WhatsApp groups. 3) Group Outreach: message individual members of selected groups. Each mode has a step-by-step wizard.

Yes. You can attach images, videos, and documents alongside text messages. For images and videos, you can choose to send the text as a caption on the media instead of as a separate message.

By default, WA Spark waits 6-15 seconds (randomized) between each message to mimic natural typing behavior. You can adjust this in Send Settings, but going below 6 seconds triggers a safety warning.

Yes. When sending to phone numbers (not saved contacts), WA Spark checks if each number has an active WhatsApp account before attempting to send. Invalid numbers are skipped automatically.

Yes. You can use template variables like the recipient's name or number to personalize each message. Combined with randomized delays, this makes messages appear natural and reduces ban risk.

The send stops. WA Spark runs inside your browser tab, so closing the tab or browser interrupts the process. You can see which recipients received messages in the campaign log.

Not currently. WA Spark sends messages in real-time while your browser is open. Scheduled/delayed sending may be added in a future update.

Yes. In the Contacts sending mode, you can enter phone numbers directly (with country code). WA Spark verifies each number has WhatsApp before sending.

Yes. WhatsApp formatting works in your messages: *bold*, _italic_, ~strikethrough~, and ```monospace```. Type the formatting markers directly in your message text and WhatsApp renders them on the recipient's end.

Group Outreach lets you message individual members of WhatsApp groups privately (as direct messages, not in the group chat). Select one or more groups, and WA Spark sends your message to each member's personal chat. Useful for event follow-ups, surveys, or targeted outreach.

Yes, using template variables. You can personalize each message with the recipient's name or phone number. For fully different messages per recipient, create separate campaigns.

Images (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP), videos (MP4, 3GP), documents (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, ZIP), and audio files (MP3, OGG, AAC). WhatsApp's size limits apply: 16MB for images, 64MB for videos, 100MB for documents.

Yes. While a bulk send is running, a Cancel button is always visible. Clicking it stops the send immediately. Recipients who already received messages keep them, but no further messages are sent.

Account Safety

(7)

WA Spark is designed to minimize ban risk with built-in safety features: randomized delays, number verification, daily send limits on the free tier, and clear warnings when you configure aggressive settings. However, no tool can guarantee zero risk. Always follow WhatsApp's terms of service.

For new WhatsApp accounts, start with 10-20 messages per day for the first week, then gradually increase. Established accounts (6+ months old) can safely handle higher volumes. WA Spark's free tier limits naturally enforce a safe warm-up pattern.

WhatsApp monitors new accounts more closely. During the first 1-2 weeks, keep volumes low (10-20 per day), vary your message content, and avoid sending to people who might report you. After this period, you can gradually increase volume.

Only message people who expect to hear from you. Personalize messages so they don't look like spam. Avoid identical messages to large lists. Never send to purchased number lists. If someone asks to stop, stop immediately.

WhatsApp issues temporary bans (usually 24-72 hours) as warnings before permanent bans. If you receive one: stop all bulk activity, wait the full duration, then resume with much lower volumes. Read our full safety guide at /safety for detailed recovery steps.

Yes. Randomized delays between messages are the single most important safety measure. The default 6-15 second range mimics natural behavior. Sending messages too fast (under 3 seconds apart) is the most common trigger for WhatsApp's anti-spam detection.

We have a comprehensive account safety guide at /safety covering warm-up rules, message personalization, smart sending patterns, recipient hygiene, volume risk levels, and recovery procedures.

Analytics and Export

(6)

50+ metrics per conversation: total messages, daily averages, longest streak, hourly and weekly activity charts, top words, top emojis, media breakdown (images, videos, audio, documents, stickers, links), response behavior, who-talks-more analysis, forwarded/deleted counts, and more.

A free web tool at /analyze where you upload a WhatsApp chat export file (.txt or .zip) and get detailed analytics. It works entirely in your browser. No sign-up required, no data uploaded to any server.

On your phone: open the chat, tap the three-dot menu, select More, then Export Chat. Choose with or without media. Share the file to your computer and upload it to the analyzer.

Yes. Both the extension and the web analyzer let you download a styled HTML report with all charts, stats, and breakdowns. Great for sharing insights or archiving conversation summaries.

Every bulk send creates a campaign record with timestamp, recipient count, delivery status for each recipient, message content, and send duration. You can review past campaigns in the Campaigns tab.

Pro users can export campaign data as CSV files for use in spreadsheets or CRM tools. Free users can view campaign history within the extension.

Templates, Lists, and Data

(8)

Templates are pre-written messages you can save and reuse across campaigns. Create templates for common messages like promotions, announcements, or follow-ups. Attach media to templates too.

Lists are saved groups of recipients (contacts, phone numbers, or WhatsApp groups). Create lists like "Customers", "Team", or "Leads" and reuse them across multiple campaigns without selecting recipients each time.

Yes. Use the Import/Export feature to backup all your templates, lists, campaigns, and settings as a single JSON file. Import on a new device, new browser, or share with team members.

Free tier has reasonable limits. Pro tier offers unlimited templates and lists with no restrictions on size or count.

All data stored in your browser's local storage is removed when you uninstall the extension. Always export a backup before uninstalling if you want to keep your templates, lists, and campaign history.

Open the Lists tab, select a list, and use the edit view to add contacts by name or phone number, or remove existing entries. Changes are saved automatically.

Yes. When creating a template, you can attach an image, video, or document that gets sent along with the template text every time you use it in a campaign.

Yes. Use the Import/Export feature to export your templates as a JSON file, then share it with team members who can import it into their own WA Spark installation.

Troubleshooting

(8)

Make sure you're on web.whatsapp.com. Right-click the WA Spark icon in your toolbar and select "Open side panel". If you don't see the icon, click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar to find and pin the extension.

Wait for WhatsApp Web to fully load (all chats visible in the sidebar). If it still doesn't work, refresh the WhatsApp Web tab, then try Connect again. Make sure you only have one WhatsApp Web tab open.

Check that WhatsApp Web is still connected (no "Phone not connected" banner). Ensure the recipient number has WhatsApp. Try refreshing the page and reconnecting WA Spark. Check the browser console for error details.

Large files (over 16MB for images, 64MB for videos) may fail due to WhatsApp's file size limits. Try compressing the file. Also ensure WhatsApp Web has finished loading before attempting media sends.

This can happen with very large contact lists (1000+). Try closing other browser tabs to free memory. The privacy blur feature uses CSS only and should not impact performance.

Analytics are calculated from the chat data visible in your WhatsApp Web session. If a chat hasn't fully loaded (scroll to load older messages), some messages may not be counted. For the web analyzer, ensure your export file is complete.

Chrome updates extensions automatically. To force an update: go to chrome://extensions, enable Developer Mode, and click "Update". Your data (templates, lists, campaigns) is preserved across updates.

Email us at support@waspark.io with a description of the issue, your browser version, and any error messages from the browser console (F12, Console tab). Screenshots help too.
